My name is Francisco Ferreira and I was born on November 23rd in Viseu, Portugal where I spent my first 18 years before moving to Porto (also in Portugal) after finishing my Highschool at Escola Secundária Alves Martins. I am studying a BSc./MSc. in Informatics and Computing Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at University of Porto.
My philosophy is that a university course gives the technical content needed to succeed, however that is not everything in order to be prepared for the real world, as soft skills are a substantial piece of skill everyone should have. With that being said, I am a sports person, having grown up socializing with my Swimming and Football teammates. I intend to keep working on these skills by joining an extracurricular activity related to software engineering, where I can work with people and companies in this area.
I have several areas of interest inside this huge world of Software Engineering, which are Android and Web Development (mainly Back-End) as well as Algorithmic Analysis. I consider myself a very hardworking and ambitious person and my goal is to be able to change the world with my work.
